19. Sigurd Anderson was honored in 2017 by the Trail of Governors with a life-size bronze statue by sculptor James Michael Maher, placed on Capitol Avenue near the Sigurd Anderson Building. The statue portrays Anderson waving as he stands behind a microphone, recalling his love of people and his reputation as a skilled orator.
