Joe Kirby, the author of the blog SiouxFallsJoe.com, is a resident of downtown Sioux Falls and a tireless advocate for improvement of the area who has put his time and money where his mouth is many times.
Kirby’s new blog post, “Downtown Deserves More Attention,” makes several good points about how Sioux Falls has improved the downtown area, and what more it can do to continue to improve.
This blog highlights Kirby’s post, though, because the post also includes a short but interesting history of the efforts to revitalize and improve the downtown area, going back to the first efforts to develop the Falls as an amenity more than a century ago.
